The Tableau Cinema Tour is always a good opportunity to show Tableau enthusiasts and users the advantages of the software and the innovations of the latest version. This year, we chose the historic film palace Delphi for our event. A complete success, because this location convinced us and our visitors with the charm and the very own elegance of a cinema from the 1920s (it was built from 1927 to 1928).
Appropriately, the diverse possibilities offered by Tableau to its users were demonstrated and sophisticatedly prepared on the basis of film and television data, and transformed and supplemented in various ways. The guests of the event thus gained a detailed insight into the possibilities of being able to independently and comfortably implement and use Self Service BI and Visual Analytics.
Björn Leffler, Senior Project Manager at M2, introduced the audience to M2 and the multitude of services we offer as a long-standing Tableau partner. Afterwards, Christoph Klavehn, Manager Pan-European Data Projects at the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR), presented the positive effects he has achieved by introducing Tableau to his company. ECFR is an award-winning, international think tank that aims to conduct independent, cutting-edge research on European foreign and security policy and to provide decision-makers, activists and opinion leaders with a secure meeting place for exchanging ideas.
Following the event, which was moderated by Micaela Feldmann, Head of Marketing Communications at Tableau, guests and hosts once again had the opportunity for a professional exchange in the pleasant ambience of the Delphi reception lobby. Not only did we take away many exciting and new impressions, but our guests were also able to exchange and discuss their ideas, questions and suggestions with us. We are already looking forward to the next event of this kind next year!
